What I Will Do

What would I do as one of the five Board members?

First, I want to listen and understand the expectations of recreation and park users, District residents, City Councils and SSPRD employees. I promise to be available and accountable as a Board member.

In the first 90 days, I will focus on:

• Study and research to understand the key issues confronting the District.

• Work collaboratively with Board members in recruiting and hiring a new Executive Director.

• Use the Guiding Principles to learn about plans, programs and people to help set priorities.

• Study the financial condition of the District and prepare for the next budget cycle.
• Enjoy the many things the District has to offer!
